SPRING BREAK SERVICE DAYS: Coming back home for Spring
Break, but still want to make a difference? Catholic Youth Ministries
is hosting two days of service for college-age youth on Tuesdays
March 9 and March 16. Hosted by Griffin Street Recreation Center in
New Albany, the days run from 12:30 p.m.-6 p.m., working with
senior citizens in the early afternoon and then after-school programs
in the late afternoon. A $5 donation is requested to help cover the
cost for the group meal that will follow the service activities. Register
by sending an e-mail to jeff@nadyouth.org, with
"Spring Break
Service" in the subject line. Registration e-mails are due on Friday,
March 5 or March 12 depending on the service date requested.
THEOLOGY ON TAP FOR YOUNG ADULTS AGES 23-39:
Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at Richos, 3312 Plaza Drive, New
Albany, for engaging speakers and welcoming fellowship. Our next
session is March 2. The topic for the evening is Salvation and You:
What is the individual's role in salvation? The following session will
be March 9 and the topic will be "Salvation and Us, Community and

MARRIAGE 101: So you popped the big question and she said,
Yes! Now what? The Deanery Catholic Youth Ministry is hosting a
Marriage 101 day of reflection at Holy Family Parish in New Albany
at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010. This all-day marriage
preparation event is designed to help engaged couples learn the
skills needed to build a happy, life-long marriage. Registration
deadline is February 26, 2010. Visit our website at

Faith Opportunities
Scripture Study - Join local young adults every
Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at a local coffee shop for
faith sharing. We are meeting at two different coffee
shops this fall to make it more convenient for those
young adults in our deanery. So join us!!
Twenty Something
The Twenty Something group meets once a month and is open to those young
adults who are 18-30 years of age. The group was started to keep
younger adults involved with the parish and allow them to meet other
people who are experiencing the same life events (graduating college,
entering college, new family etc.) The group rotates between
participating in service activities and social activities. An email is
sent out monthly, to those involved, giving information as to what the
next event will be and it's also posted in the bulletin. For more

College Visits
The Youth Ministries office team and deanery youth ministers visit Indiana
colleges. College visits this year will be made to IUS, Purdue, U
of L, Ball State , IUPUI Marion-
Butler, and IU.
