Everyone participates in each of the "All" projects., (Note: with the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen there are four dates and you simply choose one)

(ALL) Service:   Ministry Training & Liturgical Ministries
Dates:  July 17, 2011 (after 8:30am & 11:00am Mass) and
August 7th, 2011 (after 8:30am & 11:00am Mass)
Time: after Sunday morning Masses at each Parish & sign up for a particular training & Mass preference (Lectoring will require extra training sessions)

(ALL) Service:   Attend a Parish Council meeting for your Parish & one other meeting.
Parish Council: St. Augustine meets 3rd Wednesday in Parish Hall at 6pm and
Sacred Heart meets 3rd Wednesday in St. Augustine Parish Hall at 6pm
Liturgy: St. Augustine meets 2nd Thursday at 6pm in Parish Office and
Sacred Heart meets 2nd Tuesday at 6pm in CLOW room in St., Catherine Hall
Faith Formation Commission: meets quarterly, Oct., Feb., May & Aug. at 6pm in St. Augustine Parish Hall
Youth Ministry Commission: meets 1st Wed. (not in July 2011 and not in Sept) 6pm in St. Augustine Parish Office
Christian Service: Sacred Heart meets 1st Monday (except in July) at 6:30pm in Dining Room
Stewardship: Sacred Heart meets 2nd Tuesday at 6pm in St. Catherine Hall,
St. Augustine meets
(All) Service:   Harvest Chicken Dinner St. Augustine Parish Hall
Date: Sunday, September 11th Noon-4pm
Needed: Deliver dinner's to shut-ins (10am-Noon)
  Work in kitchen or dining room
(All) Service:   Taste of Sacred Heart

Needed: -Youth and adults to shop for clothes & groceries
-help with Drop-off and Deliveries — sign ups in Church

(ALL) Service:   Shut-ins
Date & Time: at your convenience
Needed: Youth and adults to pray for a particular shut-in member of the Catholic Community of Jeffersonville and write to them or send them cards.
- Deliver a Harvest Chicken dinner (Sunday, September 11th 10am-Noon) to them
- call them (if o.k. with them — ask our parish Contact person first) and ask "what advice would you have for a young person today?"

Spirituality Expectations 2011-2012

  • Regular attendance at Sunday Mass (every weekend)

  • Attend a weekday Mass either 8:00am at St. Augustine Tues/Thursday or 5:30 at Sacred Heart on Tuesday evenings

  • Participate in praying the rosary either on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm at St. Augustine or Friday afternoon at 1:15 pm at Sacred Heart or the Living Rosary on Sunday, October 3rd at 9:30 am in St. Augustine Church

  • Make a visit to Church/Chapel other than Mass attendance

  • Read Scripture

  • Participate in Triduum: Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday April 5,6,7, & 8, 2012
