Catechesis and the Proclamation of the Word. A new article with reflection questions will appear each month until July 2010.

Please join
us in the preparation for the Sunday readings, and other scriptures on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the St.

R.C.I.A.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the Church's
process of welcoming newcomers into full communion with the Catholic Church. The RCIA program involves not just the newcomer or "inquirer" but
all the members of the community who by prayer and personal example help the
inquirer find his or her place in the Church.
DAILY BIBLE READINGS
Some have asked how to know what the daily readings are from the comfort of home. There are several ways that the internet can be of great service in this regard.
Lifelong Catechesis - involving the whole community. This site, sponsored by
Harcourt Publishers, provides several avenues of interest.
www.usccb.org - a site sponsored by the National Conference of catholic bishops.
Select “daily readings”; on the calendar page, select the date and the readings appear.
www.mobilegabriel.com -
select “Mass calendar”, then choose the date, and finally “Mass readings”. In addition to giving you the readings, it also provides a meditation for the day.
For more information on any of these programs please call the Faith Formation
Office at 282-1231.
